Selling your home is already a major decision. You should not also have to worry about being locked into a listing agreement when the relationship is no longer working.
My Easy Exit Listing Agreement is designed to give eligible sellers a clear way to cancel the listing without a cancellation fee, subject to the written terms of the agreement.
You should continue working with me because I am earning your confidence—not because leaving is difficult or expensive.
A listing agreement creates responsibilities for both the seller and the brokerage.
You should expect:
If I am not meeting the commitments outlined in our agreement, you should be able to raise the issue and expect it to be addressed.
The Easy Exit program gives sellers added confidence before signing because they know they are not entering an arrangement with hidden cancellation penalties.
The exact process will be explained in writing before the listing begins.
In general:
Nothing should be unclear or left to a verbal promise. The terms need to appear in the written listing agreement or an approved addendum.
Easy Exit does not mean the listing can be cancelled in a way that ignores an existing purchase contract, brokerage obligation, MLS rule, or other written agreement.
It also does not erase expenses or obligations that were separately agreed to in writing.
The program is intended to remove the fear of an unnecessary cancellation penalty—not create confusion about legal or contractual responsibilities.
Most problems should be addressed before they reach the point of cancellation.
Throughout the listing, we will review:
If the market is telling us something, I will explain it directly.
You may not always like the information, but you will not be left guessing.
You decide whether to accept an offer.
You decide whether to approve a price change.
You decide which repairs or improvements you are willing to make.
You decide whether the selling plan still fits your goals.
My role is to provide the information, advice, marketing, negotiation, and transaction management you need to make those decisions.
The Easy Exit Listing Agreement is not a reduced-service program.
Eligible sellers still receive the agreed listing services, which may include:
The ability to leave does not reduce the level of service you should expect while the listing is active.
I cover the agreed marketing and listing-preparation expenses until closing.
You do not receive a separate upfront marketing bill for the services included in our written agreement.
Because every property and marketing plan is different, the exact services and expenses will be reviewed before the listing begins.
The program may depend on the property, seller, brokerage requirements, listing type, and terms of the agreement.
Before you sign anything, I will explain:
Do not rely on a website summary alone. The written agreement controls.
We can discuss your goals, timing, property condition, likely market position, and the selling plan before you decide whether to list.

The Easy Exit program can also provide peace of mind to sellers who previously felt ignored, trapped, or disappointed during an unsuccessful listing.
